Barieva Y.B., Botvineva L.A., Kaysinova A.S., Samsonova N.A.

Abstract

The review is devoted to the topical issues of non-pharmacological treatment of metabolic syndrome, namely, fight against hypodynamia (the mechanism of sanogenetic action of Scandinavian walking) and insulin resistance (the effect of drinking mineral water on normalization of insulin secretion). Non-medicamentous measures aimed at reducing body weight, changing dietary stereotypes, quiting bad habits such as smoking and alcohol abuse, increasing physical activity. These changes contribute to the formation of healthy lifestyle, they are highly effective, increase oxygenation of tissues, improve functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and have a pathogenetically directed effect on all links of metabolic syndrome: abdominal obesity, dyslipidemia, violation of carbohydrate metabolism, hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance, sympaticotonia, arterial hypertension.

Lugovskaya O.N., Smolensky A.V., Zolicheva S.Y.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the isolated and combined course application of normobaric hypoxia and enhanced external counterpulsation in young female basketball players. We examined 86 female basketball players aged 10-14 years who are in the sports specialization stage. Physiotherapeutic procedures (enhanced external counterpulsation and normobaric hypoxic therapy in climatic chamber conditions) were conducted in isolation and in combination in breaks between training sessions. Efficacy was assessed on the basis of changes in indicators before and after the course application of the procedures (PWC sample 170, maximum oxygen consumption, stress tests). The greatest increase in general and special working capacity was found in young female basketball players with a 10-day combined course of normobaric hypoxic therapy and external counterpulsation.

COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH POST-CASTRATION SYNDROME

Bulakh O.A., Filatova E.V.

Abstract

The effect of complex rehabilitation in patients with post-stroke syndrome after complex treatment, including operative treatment, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, was studied. Electrosleep in combination with normobaric hypoxic therapy significantly improved the condition of patients and can be a method of choosing the tactics of treatment of patients of this profile. The effectiveness of the treatment was 91%. The method contributes to a more prolonged remission of the disease and gives grounds to talk about the need for repeated courses of therapy with a frequency of no more than 2 times a year.

ULTRAPHONOPHORESIS OF ENZYME DRUGS IN TREATMENT OF POSTACNE SCARS

Talybova A.P., Kruglova L.S., Stenko A.G.

Abstract

The most effective medication for aesthetic correction of skin scars is ultraphonophoresis of enzyme preparations. Under our supervision there were 20 patients aged 17.2 ± 2.4 years with a symptomatic complex who received a course of ultraphonophoresis of hyaluronidase cream (15 procedures performed every other day). Efficacy was assessed taking into account clinical high-grade indices: Vancouver scale, POSAS, Dermatological Life Quality Index. Efficacy according to the Vancouver scale was 100% for pain, itching decreased by 75% after 2 months and completely stopped after 6 months, color of the scar improved by 50%, stiffness decreased by 67%, thickness of scar deformation decreased by 50%. Ultraphonophoresis of hyaluronidase cream is a highly effective method of correction of the scars of the symptom complex postacne, which also determines the improvement in the quality of life of this category of patients according to the dynamics of the dermatological quality of life index. This method can be recommended for use in clinical practice.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PHOTOTECHNIQUES AND CALCINEURIN INHIBITOR IN PATIENTS WITH LICHEN PLANUS

Levshin R.N., Fedotova K.Y., Kotenko K.V.

Abstract

Lichen planus refers to a common chronic inflammatory diseases of the skin. From lichen planus suffers 0.1% to 2.4% of the population. In most patients, the process has a tendency to relapsing course, and the methods of relief of exacerbations mainly include the use of corticosteroids, which have side effects. In recent years there have been few studies of the effectiveness of narrowband ultraviolet therapy, polychromatic polarized light, however, the problem of therapy of patients with lichen planus remains relevant. Under our observation there were 62 patients in age from 20 to 54 years with different clinical forms of lichen planus. Patients of the main group additionally received pulsed polarized light therapy and a topical inhibitor of calcineurin, patients of comparison groups received pulsed polarized light therapy or a topical inhibitor of calcineurin. Evaluation of effectiveness was based on clinical (dermatological indexes) and special methods (biochemical, immunological). The use of the combined method in patients with lichen planus caused high therapeutic and preventive effects, as evidenced by the improvement indices dermatologicaly status and improving the quality of life, positive dynamics of the content of histamine, expression of Toll-receptors according to the direct and remote observations.

EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSVAGINAL APPLICATION OF ELECTROPHORESIS IN THE COMPLEX THERAPY OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC SALPINGOOPHORITIS

Medoeva T.M., Dugieva M.Z., Korchazhkina N.B.

Abstract

Chronic salpingooophoritis occupies one of the leading places in the structure of gynecological diseases (60-70%) with a tendency to generalization and chronicization of the inflammatory process, the development of serious pathophysiological and pathomorphological changes in affected tissues, involvement of the reproductive system in the pathological process and a significant negative effect on the quality of life. In clinical conditions, 25 patients (mean age 29.9 ± 3.6 years) with a verified diagnosis of chronic salpingooophoritis were examined and treated. Treatment included transvaginal electrophoresis of the complex of collagenases (15 procedures for a course, 3-4 times a week). Efficacy was assessed taking into account the indices of the scale of symptoms, degree of pain syndrome and quality of life. Transvaginal electrophoresis with collagenase preparations has a high efficiency for all clinical symptoms of chronic salpingooophoritis, which is confirmed by the dynamics of the index of the symptom scale, the reduction of which was 74.9%, while the global therapeutic effectiveness of the method was 80%. The developed method is highly effective in terms of relief of pain, which significantly contributes to improving the quality of life of this category of patients.
