ETIOPATHOGENESIS AND THE OPPORTUNITIES OF LASEROTHERAPY OF ERYTHEMATO-TELEANGIECTATIC ROSACEA SUBTYPE

Sharshunova A.A., Kruglova L.S., Kotenko K.V., Sofinskaya G.V.

Abstract

Rosacea is a chronic relapsing skin disorder of a multifactorial nature, which affects up to 5% of the population in Russia. Great social significance of rosacea is due to a marked decrease in the quality of life of the patient in the absence of continuous monitoring and supporting corrective therapy. A significant role in the pathogenesis of the disease belongs to vascular pathology and immune disorders. Currently, local laser therapy with a neodymium laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm seems to be the most optimal from the point of view of efficiency and tolerability, the absence of systemic side effects and also having no limitations on the skin type of the patient’s skin.

Abstract

It is known that neurotic disorders can be independent risk factors for the development of complications in patients with cardiovascular diseases. This requires the creation of new rehabilitation programs that include not only medicines but also physiotherapy. To this end, an analysis was made of the effect of complex treatment, including visual color impulse therapy, on the psychoemotional state of 80 patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertensive disease and coronary heart disease, who also have asthenic-depressive symptoms. In this case, patients in two control groups received standard drug therapy, and in the two main groups received additional color pulse therapy from the «Mellon» apparatus. Dynamics of the psychoemotional state of patients was studied with the help of a test that determines the quantitative changes in the state of health, activity and mood, as well as the stress index that characterizes the regulation of the heart rhythm under stress. Prior to the start of treatment, functional disintegration of regulatory mechanisms was characteristic for all patients, which was accompanied by psychoemotional disorders that indirectly reflected the state of highly organized nervous processes in the cerebral cortex, which altered the values of SI stress index indicators and the «well-being, activity, mood» test. The regression statistical analysis was used in this work. As a result, the indications and contraindications to the use of this method of treatment were determined. After the course of complex treatment, including drug and visual color impulse therapy, positive dynamics in the patients’ state was revealed, which indicates an increase in the functional capabilities of their body, and also, given the good tolerability of visual color impulse therapy, the feasibility of including this method in complex treatment at any stage of rehabilitation.

SENSORY MECHANISM OF KINESIOLOGY TAPING CLINICAL EFFECT

Konovalenko K.A., Petrova A.B., Afanasyev S.V., Aleksandrov N.Y., Guzalov P.I., Mikheev M.M.

Abstract

The mechanisms of clinical effects of kinesiology taping (KT) remain unclear. Goals: to study the mechanisms of KT clinical effect and to compare the results with the present literature data. 23 subjects were examined for H-reflex parameters with KT classic application on m. soleus, without KT and with KT on the proximal and distal zones of the S1 dermatome. 6 subject were examined for motor response to transcranial magnetic stimulation from m. abductor pollicis brevis with/without KT application. A significant difference in the mean values of the H-reflex amplitudes was obtained for conditions with/without KT. No reliable differences in the amplitudes of the H-reflex for various types of KT applications were found (KT in the projection of the muscle, distal or proximal zone of the dermatome). A significant increase in the amplitude and the duration of motor responses from m. abductor pollicis brevis with KT application were revealed. The obtained results estimate the role of sensory activation mechanisms in the clinical effect of KT and contradict the existing hypotheses about a direct KT influence on a muscle.

Volkov A.G., Dikopova N.Z., Kislitsyna A.V., Shishmareva A.L.

Abstract

Application in complex treatment of the temporomandibular joint pain dysfunction syndrome in vocalists infrared irradiation and ultrasonic treatment eliminates the pain and increased tone of the masticatory muscles in a short time, which increases the amplitude of movements of the mandible and the functional capabilities of the temporomandibular joint with increased professional workload. The proposed course of physiotherapy procedures allows for successful rehabilitation in a complex of therapeutic measures and to improve the effectiveness of treatment of the temporomandibular joint pain dysfunction syndrome, which is especially important for the quality of life of people involved in the vocals.

PHYSICAL REHABILITATION AFTER SURGICAL TREATMENT OF RUPTURE OF THE ROTATOR CUFF OF THE SHOULDER

Mikhalyova A.V., Kulikov A.G., Makarova I.N.

Abstract

The examination and treatment of 62 patients operated on for damage to the rotator cuff of the shoulder and received basic therapy, including symptomatic medications and curative gymnastics according to the standard method were made. Patients of the main group in addition to basic treatment were given an exercise course with dynamic controlled muscle tension in the immobilization and postimmobilization period. It has been revealed that the inclusion of exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension in the therapeutic complex has a more significant effect on the main clinical symptoms of the disease, the regeneration processes, and also contributes to an earlier restoration of impaired functions of the shoulder joint.

COMBINED APPLICATION OF MICRONEEDLE RF-THERAPY AND INJECTIONS BY PLATELET-RICH PLASMA ACTIVATED BY AUTOLOGICAL THROMBIN IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Alenichev A.Y., Kruglova L.S., Fedorov S.M., Sharypova I.V., Ast N.A.

Abstract

A retrospective assessment of the effectiveness of the application of a combination of radio-frequency radiation (needle lifting) and injections of platelet-enriched autologous human plasma was made in the correction of involuntary changes in the skin of the face and neck of 57 patients aged 40-65 years with signs of chronic aging and photodamage of the skin. Dermatological status was assessed before and after the reparative correction of involuntary changes in the skin through morphostructural analysis of the skin using the method of ultrasonography, visual analog scales, photography, studying the quality of life, and assessing patients’ satisfaction with the used treatment. To objectify the results, they were compared according to age: in the group of patients up to 49 years old and over 49 years of age. As a result of the application of the combined treatment method, the degree of manifestation of clinical signs of skin aging (the qualitative characteristics of the skin and the degree of wrinkles) markedly decreased, which contributed to an improvement in the quality of life of this category of patients. More than 90% of patients regardless of age noted good/very good efficacy and comfort of the combined method. Combined method of correction of involuntary changes in the face and neck skin, based on a combination of cellular technology with platelet activation by autologous thrombin and effect on the skin by needle lifting is a highly effective method of correcting involuntary skin changes.

EFFICIENCY OF APPLICATION OF INTERFERENCY THERAPY IN COMPLEX WITH PYRIMIDINE NUCLEOTIDES IN PATIENTS WITH VERTEBROGENIC RADICULOPATHIES

Guseinova S.G., Imamverdieva S.S., Mustafaeva E.E., Mamedova M.Y., Yusifova K.N.

Abstract

Clinical-neurophysiological bases of the combined use of Nucleo CMF forte preparation and interference therapy in the complex treatment of patients with vertebrogenic radiculopathies were studied. The beneficial effect of this therapeutic complex on the clinical course of the disease, more pronounced analgesic effect and regression of clinical manifestations, as well as improvement of quality of life indicators were proved. It has been established that the therapeutic effect of the complex application of Nucleo CMF forte and interference therapy lies in the improvement in the afferent and efferent links of the neuromotor apparatus, as well as the functional state of the spinal alpha-motoneurons associated with the acceleration of the regenerative processes. Activation of regenerative processes can also be associated with the restoration of certain morphological elements of the nervous system under the action of Nucleo CMF forte, as well as the normalization of the synthesis of complex lipids involved in cellular metabolism and synthesis of substances for the structural restoration of peripheral nerves. Carrying out neurotropic pharmacotherapy in combination with physiotherapy helps optimize therapeutic tactics in patients with vertebrogenic radiculopathies and is aimed at improving the quality of treatment, reducing the using of number of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and the frequency of relapse of the disease, and improving the quality of life of patients.
