Features of management and clinical course of early rehabilitation period after acute coronary syndrome

详细

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, especially in low- and middle-income countries. This review analyzes current approaches to cardiac rehabilitation (CR) for ACS patients, focusing on the epidemiology, clinical features, and innovative strategies of CR programs. Key aspects of CR include physical activity, psychotherapeutic techniques, nutritional therapy, and medication, which in turn require a personalized approach to improve clinical outcomes. Attention is also paid to gender differences in the course of ACS and access to rehabilitation programs, as well as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on disease dynamics. The data of recent studies proving the effectiveness of integration of digital technologies, telemedicine and mobile applications into CR programs are analyzed. The authors consider both traditional rehabilitation methods and innovative approaches, including high-intensity interval training and the Mediterranean diet, which allows us to consider new approaches to the development of rehabilitation programs. Despite the proven efficacy of CR, its implementation remains limited due to low patient compliance and lack of availability in resource-limited regions. New clinical guidelines are in development to improve rehabilitation strategies aimed at reducing the risk of recurrent complications and improving patients' quality of life.
