REGULATORY POTENTIAL AND PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC INTERVENTIONS

Zubkova S.M.

Abstract

The author presents evidence that local physiotherapeutic treatment of the neuroendocrine regulatory centers, reflexogenic zones of internal organs, and vegetative ganglia is highly efficacious for restoring pathologically altered functional abilities of the body and correcting disturbed oxidative, metabolic, and immune processes in different organs and tissues.

EFFICIENCY PELOTHERAPY IN SANATORNO-RESORT TREATMENT PATIENTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

Abramovich S.G., Mashamkaya A.V., Denisenko N.V., Zubrey S.A., Pluzhmkov A.V.

Abstract

The authors to publications are organized study of the influence pelotherapy on factors quality of life and daily monitoring arterial pressure of patients with arterial hypertension. It is proved that quality of life of patients with arterial hypertension have a more low level, than quality of life of the sound people. It is installed that therapeutic peloids promotes the reduction of the arterial pressure and raises the level a quality of life patients with arterial hypertension.

THE APPLICATION OF PHOTODIODE RADIATION OF DIFFERENT WAVELENGTHS FOR THE TREATMENT OF THE ACUTE PHASE OF COMPRESSIVE-ISCHEMIC NEUROPATHY OF THE FACIAL NERVE

Guzalov P.I., Kir’yanova V.V., Nikishchenkova A.S., Yuibo T.

Abstract

The results of the study on compressive-ischemic (entrapment) neuropathy of the facial nerve are presented. The effect of light-emitting diode (LED) radiation on the clinical features of facial nerve neuropathy has been estimated in the acute phase of the disease. It was demonstrated that the therapeutic efficacy of LED radiation was especially pronounced when applied at a wavelength of 540 nm (green light). At the same time, the inclusion of LED radiation at a wavelength of 470 nm (blue light) in the phototherapy produced a well-apparent analgesic effect.

THE COMPARATIVE EFFICACY OF HEMOLASEROTHERAPY WITH THE USE OF RADIATION WAVELENGTHS 635 NM (RED) AND 405 NM (VIOLET) FOR THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS PRESENTING WITH OBLITERATIVE ATHEROSCLEROSIS OF THE LOWER LIMB VESSELS

Moskvin S.V., Botin N.V., Uspenskaya T.Z.

Abstract

The treatment of chronic obliterative atherosclerosis of the lower limb vessels is a real challenge due to the progressive clinical course of the disease and its serious late complications. We have undertaken intravenous laser irradiation of the blood using a novel technology including the application of low-intensity laser light in the wavelength range of 635 nm (red) and 405 nm (violet). This treatment proved to normalize the lipid profile, serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Moreover, it caused positive changes in the blood coagulation properties.

THE APPLICATION OF ENDONASAL ELECTROPHORESIS DURING INTRANASAL SURGICAL INTERVENTIONS

Polyaeva M.Y., Kunel’skaya N.L., Gerasimenko M.Y., Tsarapkin G.Y.

Abstract

An original septal stent with the integrated electrode has been developed to be used for endonasal electrophoresis. This device makes the electrophoretic procedure less injurious and thereby significantly enhances its therapeutic efficacy. Moreover, the application of the new stent reduces the period of rehabilitation of the patients who had undergone intranasal surgical intervention in the preceding period.

THE INFLUENCE OF INFRARED RADIATION ON THE MEMBRANOUS PHOSPHOLIPID LEVELS IN LYMPHOCYTES AND PLATELETS DURING THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE IN EXPERIMENT

Tadzhikhodzhaeva Y.K.

Abstract

White outbred rats were exposed to tobacco smoke during 60 days to induce experimental chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Detection of the main fractions of membranous phospholipids from peripheral blood lymphocytes and platelets revealed their altered quantitative composition. Phototherapy using infrared (IR) radiation changed membranous phospholipid levels and induced a tendency toward their normalization after 10 applications. The positive changes persisted as long as 30 days after the termination of the treatment. It is concluded that IR radiation exerts beneficial effect on the molecular components of lymphocytes and platelets, such as membranous phospholipids.

LASEROTHERAPY OF THE PATIENTS PRESENTING WITH DISKOGENIC NEUROLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS AND IN THE POST-DISKECTOMY PERIOD

Miryutova N.F.

Abstract

The use of laser therapy for the treatment of the patients presenting with intervertebral disk herniation has been shown to decrease the severity of diskogenic neurological disorders, have beneficial effect on the postoperative course of the disease following diskectomy, reduce the risk of residual pain syndrome, normalize the functional state of the neuromotor apparatus and peripheral hemodynamics. The combination of laser therapy and vibrotraction produced a pronounced analgesic effect, improved the functional state of spinal musculature, eliminated neuro-orthopedic disturbances and thereby decreased the severity of vascular compression in the spinal nerve roots of the patients with clinical manifestations of diskogenic neurological disorders.

PHYSICAL REHABILITATION OF THE PATIENTS PRESENTING WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE AFTER MYOCARDIAL REVASCULARIZATION

Basov G.V.

Abstract

The present study was focused on the outcomes of the comprehensive program for the improvement of clinical conditions and physical rehabilitation for the patients who had previously underwent myocardial vascularization. The results are compared with those obtained in the framework of the rehabilitative program recommended by WHO.

THE INFLUENCE OF PELOID APPLICATIONS ON ADIPOKINE SECRETION IN THE OBESE PATIENTS

Fotina O.N., Antonyuk M.V., Kantur T.A., Khodosova K.K.

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to estimate the influence of Melkovodnenskaya sulfide silt peloid on the secretion of adiponectin, leptin, and tumour necrosis factor-alpha in the patients presenting with abdominal obesity. It was shown that repeated applications of therapeutic peloids reduces the severity of the inflammatory process in the adipose tissue as evidenced by a decrease in the levels of proinflammatory cytokine NMF-alpha and adiponectin hyperproduction.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS GENERATED BY PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC EQUIPMENTS AS A SOURCE OF POTENTIAL THREATS FOR THE MEDICAL PERSONNEL

Rubtsova N.B., Markov D.V., Sheina A.N.

Abstract

The concise analysis of the data on the possible unfavourable action of electromagnetic fields on human health is presented. Special emphasis is laid on the hygienic estimation of electromagnetic radiation levels at the work places of the physiotherapy room medical staff as the possible health risk factor of occupational exposure. The optimal measures for the reduction and prevention of potential risks of electromagnetic radiation are recommended.
