Abstract
The objective of the present work to study the relationship between psychological regulatory factors and the quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma complicated by pulmonary heart who had experienced remodelling of the right ventricle of the heart in the preceding period. The patients were treated by standard therapy, ozonotherapy and/or phototherapy. It was shown that combination of all the three therapeutic modalities allows the unfavourable effects of inter-related pathogenetic processes to be significantly reduced. The improvement was especially pronounced with respect to lung ventilation function, psychological regulatory factors, right ventricular dilatation, and parameters of the quality of life.
