xml:lang="en"><p><italic>This study aimed to systematize data on the possibility of using extracorporeal magnetic stimulation of the pelvic floor neuromuscular system in urological practice.</italic></p> <p><bold><italic>Materials and methods. </italic></bold><italic>Based on the available scientific data and our own clinical cases, information regarding the use of extracorporeal magnetic stimulation in the treatment of urological diseases has been summarized. The historical aspects of the application of magnetic stimulation are presented, along with the physical and biological essence of the method, and indications and contraindications to the procedures. The principles of prescribing extracorporeal magnetic stimulation of the pelvic floor neuromuscular system have also been described in detail, and international and Russian data concerning the clinical application of this method in urological practice have been summarized.</italic></p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold><italic>Цель</italic></bold><italic> — систематизировать данные о возможности применения экстракорпоральной магнитной стимуляции нервно-мышечного аппарата тазового дна в урологической практике.</italic></p> <p><bold><italic>Материалы и методы.</italic></bold><italic> На основе имеющихся научных данных и собственных клинических наблюдений обобщены сведения, касающиеся применения экстракорпоральной магнитной стимуляции в лечении заболеваний урологического профиля. Изложены исторические аспекты применения магнитной стимуляции, физическая и биологическая сущность метода, представлены показания и противопоказания к назначению процедур.
