Although the relevant investigations are small in number, their results indicate that aquatherapy provides a powerful tool for the prevention of the cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and the rehabilitation after recovery from this pathology. Under certain conditions, this therapeutic modality is the method of choice for the treatment of a specific group of patients either in combination with the aerobic activity or as an alternative to it. The recognition of the importance of aquatherapy and its further development require the extension and the modification of the currently available scientifically sound evidence base.</p>
Развитие и признание данного направления требует расширения и доработки доказательной научной базы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>aquatherapy</kwd><kwd>hypodynamia</kwd><kwd>prophylaxis</kwd><kwd>cardiovascular system</kwd><kwd>physical activity</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>акватерапия</kwd><kwd>гиподинамия</kwd><kwd>профилактика</kwd><kwd>сердечно-сосудистая система</kwd><kwd>физическая активность</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Fletcher G.F., Ades P.A., Kligfield P., Arena R., Balady G.J., Bittner V.A. et al.
