The objective of the present work was to estimate the effectiveness of the combined balneotherapeutic treatment of metabolic lesions in the kidneys of the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with the use of Essentuki No 4 and Essentuki-Novaya drinking mineral water. The results of the study indicate that the combined spa and resort-based treatment with the use of Essentuki-type drinking mineral water substantially improves the main functions of the liver and its hemodynamics, stabilizes carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and decreases the severity of insulin resistance. Taken together, these effects give reason to consider the proposed approach as a tool for the prevention of further progress of the pathological process.
Проведено изучение эффективности комплексной курортной терапии с использованием питьевых минеральных вод ессентуки № 4 и ессентуки-новая при лечении больных сахарным диабетом с метаболическими поражениями печени. Результаты исследований показали, что комплексная курортная терапия с применением питьевых минеральных вод ессентукского типа при лечении метаболических поражений печени у больных сахарным диабетом 2-го типа приводит к значительному улучшению основных функций печени и состояния ее гемодинамики, способствует нормализации перекисного гомеостаза, стабилизирует углеводный и липидный обмен, снижает инсулинорезистентность. Указанные эффекты позволяет рассматривать разработанный комплекс как метод профилактики дальнейшего прогрессирования патологического процесса.
