Numerous studies have shown that variable electromagnetic fields can become an independent or additional method of treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system. However, several questions remain unresolved. Prior to their widespread clinical application, further research is needed based on well-designed, high-quality studies to standardize treatment parameters and develop an optimal protocol for healthcare decision making.</p> <p>In this review, we aimed to provide up-to-date data on the mechanism of action, clinical application, and controversy regarding variable electromagnetic fields in the physiotherapy of musculoskeletal disorders.</p>
До широкого клинического применения переменных электромагнитных полей в физиотерапии необходимы дальнейшие хорошо спланированные высококачественные исследования для стандартизации параметров лечения и выработки оптимального протокола с целью принятия решений в области здравоохранения.</p> <p>В обзоре представлены современные сведения о механизме действия, клиническом применении и противоречиях в отношении переменных электромагнитных полей в физиотерапии заболеваний опорно-двигательного аппарата.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>alternating electromagnetic fields</kwd><kwd>physiotherapy of diseases of the musculoskeletal system</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>переменные электромагнитные поля</kwd><kwd>физиотерапия заболеваний опорно-двигательного аппарата</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Markov MS.
