The prevalence of this nosological form in children, according to various population studies, ranges from 0.42 to 37%. Scheuermann–Mau disease (Scheuermanns kyphosis) is the most common osteochondropathy in children and adolescents and ranges from 0.4–8.3% of the pediatric population.</p> <p>To date, the etiology of osteochondropathy of the spine is still unclear.</p> <p>Medical rehabilitation of children with osteochondropathy of the spine is aimed at preventing further progression of deformity, normalizing posture, the functions of the cardio-respiratory system and includes: rational motor mode and nutrition, conservative orthopedic measures (corsetting), kinesiotherapy, hydrocolonotherapy, massage, positional treatment, restorative and hardening procedures, physiotherapy (electrical muscle stimulation), sports (skiing, swimming).</p> <p>An important place in the review is given to the description of the stages of medical rehabilitation of children and adolescents with dorsalgia on the background of spinal osteochondropathy who underwent surgical treatment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Одной из наиболее актуальных и социально значимых проблем современной медицины является широкая распространённость ортопедической патологии, при этом ведущее место занимают болезни позвоночника, сопровождающиеся неуклонным ростом болевых вертеброгенных синдромов, влияющих на функционирование детского организма в целом. Распространённость данной нозологической формы у детей, по данным различных популяционных исследований, составляет от 0,42 до 37%. Болезнь Шейермана–Мау (юношеский кифоз) является самой распространённой остеохондропатией у детей и подростков и составляет в популяции от 0,4 до 8,3%.</p> <p>До настоящего времени этиология остеохондропатии позвоночника остаётся неясной.</p> <p>Медицинская реабилитация детей с остеохондропатиями позвоночника направлена на нормализацию осанки, улучшение функции кардиореспираторной системы, предупреждение дальнейшего прогрессирования деформации и включает в себя рациональный двигательный режим и питание, консервативные ортопедические мероприятия (корсетирование), кинезитерапию, гидрокинезитерапию, массаж (ручной, аппаратный), лечение положением, общеукрепляющие и закаливающие процедуры, физиотерапию (электростимуляция мышц), активные занятия спортом (лыжи, плавание).</p> <p>Важное место в обзоре отводится описанию этапов медицинской реабилитации детей и подростков с дорсалгией на фоне остеохондропатии позвоночника, перенёсших хирургическое лечение.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>osteochondropathy of the spine</kwd><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>medical rehabilitation</kwd><kwd>electrotherapy</kwd><kwd>kinesitherapy</kwd><kwd>brace therapy</kwd><kwd>method PNF</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>остеохондропатии позвоночника</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>медицинская реабилитация</kwd><kwd>электротерапия</kwd><kwd>кинезитерапия</kwd><kwd>корсетотерапия</kwd><kwd>метод PNF</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Traumatology and orthopedics of childhood.
